Below I have listed some of my ideas to make Plattsburgh an even better city than it is today. Urban life is too stressful – but not in Plattsburgh. Let's make Plattsburgh “The City that Smiles”. We can do it together. Let's build outdoor cafes and music venues, the best parks and places where you can strap on skis or snowshoes and recreate for free. What are your ideas for Plattsburgh? - Clean up eyesores and blighted areas
- Install green space – everywhere
- Use Fiscal Sense to develop long-term, sustainable growth plans
- Build a tree-lined boulevard and recreation path to the new airport and landscape our beautiful city
- Give residents incentives to drive fuel-efficient, low-emission cars
- Become an asthma-free city
- Promote global cooling – become America's first Global Cooling Zone
- Invite high-tech, high-paying jobs into our region using temporary tax breaks for start-ups
- Don't forget the Saranac River waterfront – canoeing, rafting and other activities could be possible – Ingeborg Sapp, Plattsburgh
